A gorgeous antique star brooch pendant dating from the Victorian period, circa 1870. It's set with gorgeous, chunky old mine cut diamonds throughout, with slender points alternating big and small. It's high karat gold backed with silver settings, with brooch fittings and a pendant loop. It would also make a great hair slide!

The sky's mysterious nature intrigued the Victorians, and it represented the realm of dreams, magic, and the hidden aspects of life. Star motifs were a popular choice, and were worn to indicate direction and guidance for the spirit.
