DATE: Art Nouveau, c.1890

This stunning Art Nouveau brooch is dripping with vibrant sapphire cabochons, rose and old cut diamonds. With a gorgeous open worked design, swirling silver lines are set with rose cut diamonds that glisten when moved in the light. At each end are old cut diamonds, and sapphire cabochons drop from each section of the brooch. Each one is juicy with a glossy exterior, and the whole pieces backed in 18k gold.
