DATE: Victorian, c.1880

This charming Victorian brooch is modelled as two little pigs. Oink. Its crafted in silver throughout (of heavy duty hollow construction), and each pig has a gorgeously detailed face! The pig on the left seems to be a happy little piglet- with a smiling open mouth and chubby cheeks. His friend on the right is a grumpy pig, with flattened ears, a wrinkled snout and piercing eyes. Its quite entertaining actually, and looks lovely worn too!
