This fantastic 1930's costume brooch is modelled as a pelican bird. Its set with gorgeous bright white crystal stones throughout, with glossy black lacquered sections for feathers and a vibrant red eye and gular pouch. Hanging freely from the edge is a imperfectly perfect baroque pearl... And we haven't even got to the best bit yet! By pressing down on its head, the birds mouth opens up to reveal a prize pear shaped stone! How charming! Its modelled in sterling silver throughout, with an open worked back that allows the light to shine through the stones.
