DATE: Victorian, c.1880

A romantic Victorian brooch, crafted in 15 karat gold. At its centre are two intertwined hearts, set with rose cut diamonds and linked together by a diamond set crown. The joined hearts likely a representation of the joining of two lovers., a timeless symbol of love and connection. They are set on a vibrant guilloché enamel background in a deep royal blue, framed by a white and gold border and a halo of dreamy pearls. The piece remains in gorgeous antique condition, and features a small locket back with fabric insert.
