DATE: Edwardian, c.1910

A fantastic 7.33 carat oval aquamarine is the main event of this gorgeous Edwardian brooch. Modelled as a satellite cluster, the gorgeous cut of the aquamarine displays its colour beautifully- a water like blue with flashes of lighter and darker blue throughout. Its surrounded by platinum set old cut diamonds, 1.36 carats total, each stone sparkling brightly while its backed in 15k karat gold with open backed settings. The piece comes in a fitted box, retailed by Cornell & Sons, an English jewellers in Gabriel’s Hill, Maidstone (UK), which had been open for 225 years before its closure in 2022. Its a lovely piece, can be worn as a brooch or even as a pendant.
