Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1910
This stunning brooch is modelled as a crescent moon, complete with an antique fitted box. It dates from the Edwardian period, circa 1910, and features gorgeous open work and platinum setting details. Two rows of chunky and bright old cut diamonds make up the crescent - one row features square tapered platinum settings, and the others rest in shield shapes. With a finely pierced 18k gold gallery, brooch fittings and a safety chain, this looks great worn as a pendant too!
