DATE: Edwardian, c.1904

A sweet antique five-stone ring, aka as a "boat ring". This ones lovely and streamlined, set with vivid rubies and old cut diamonds in scalloped settings, forming open spaces to the gallery, allowing the light in behind them. It's modelled in rich 18k gold and bears English hallmarks for Birmingham, 1904.
