DATE: Georgian, c.1830

Here we have a charming Georgian period cluster ring, set with a Burma ruby centre, diamond "petals" and gorgeously blue/green enamelled shoulders. The ruby centre displays fantastic colour, set in silver with gorgeous old cut petals and further rose cuts accents. The shoulders are deeply engraved in floral and scrolled detail, with the most interesting coloured enamel peeking through the deep curved lines. Further engraving carries on round the gold band, modelled in a high karat gold. Fits a size US 7.5.
