DATE: Georgian, c.1830

This fantastic antique chain is beautifully modelled in rich 18 karat gold throughout, with gorgeously textured links and a snake clasp. Dating to the Georgian period, circa 1830, the snake head clasp features applied foliate motifs, swirling across the textured head and set with juicy emeralds. The chain itself is made up from alternating textured loops - interlinked and elongated hexagonal gold bars further set with floral and foliate design. It has a wearable length of 37 inches, perfect for wear on its own or as part of a stack! It remains in lovely antique condition- we sometimes can't resist a Georgian chain, and can you blame us?
