DATE: Georgian, c.1800

A gorgeous antique heart-shaped locket dating from the Georgian period, circa 1800. Two faceted rock crystal panels make up the front and back of the locket, mounted with 15k gold fittings. The facets of the rock crystal almost make it look like it glistens in the light, and it opens to reveal a space perfect for a small photograph or other memento.
