DATE: Antique, c.1820

This amazing European antique boxed necklace dates from the 19th Century, circa 1820. Beautifully crafted in 14k rose gold throughout, the necklace features an arrangement of rose cut diamond drops, that are pieced together by diamond set bars and triangular motif tops, further set with the same stones. It has a lovely sinuous wear, resting lovely against the neck as each drop lays flat. The drops consist of almost clover like motifs and large scalloped openings with large stones in the centre. Each of the stones are foil backed, enhancing their beauty and brightness, and it fastens with a later added fine chain- with extra jump rings for wear at different lengths- 19.6 inches total length. Comes complete in its fitted box.
