Early Victorian Ruby & Diamond Cluster Ring
$6,300.00
Description
DATE: Early Victorian, c.1840
This stunning Early Victorian cluster ring features a juicy ruby centre, surrounded by a diamond open work cluster. The centre stone, 0.21 carats, displays a lovely saturated colour and rests in gold detailed open backed settings. Four compass point old cut diamonds surround the stone, with further set diamonds graduating in size, creating an open worked head. The stones rest in silver, and show a great sparkle when moved along the finger, with a total weight of around half a carat. Each shoulder features gold ribbed sections, ending with pommel details- modelled in 18 karat yellow gold and resting flush against the finger.
