This exquisite antique 15k gold guard chain dates from the Georgian Regency Period, circa 1810. It comprises beautifully textured links, almost like an open cylindrical mesh, and a large barrel clasp adorned with fine applied cannetille work. It's a particularly good example of the style, and a great length at 48 inches wearable.
