DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

A beautifully crafted antique Sautoir necklace dating from the Art Deco period. Upon first glance, a charming Sautoir design with intricate paste set embellishments throughout. The main pendant is fully articulated, featuring a geometric design set with bright white paste stones and two cultured pearls at each end. A long, wide tassel strand of dreamy pearls drop from the mail pendant, with a border of paste stones at either side. The necklace itself is made from a triple strand of further cultured pearls, with paste set spacers throughout. It has a wearable length of 22.6 inches, and remains in lovely condition.
