DATE: Mid-Century, c.1940

An unusual chunky space age ring set with rock crystal dome. Thirty-eight brilliant cut diamonds are set behind it, quite an cool way to set them don't you think? They are open backed- so from the front they sparkle through the rock crystal and appear to be floating through. It's crafted in 18k white gold and dates from the 1940's.
