DATE: Art Deco, c.1930

This 1930's platinum ring is set with alternating rows of sapphire and diamond. The four rows: a trio sparkly diamonds sit at the top, to follow onto five calibre cut sapphires, and then to five baguette cuts and further three calibre cut sapphires. They're set in a stylised "S" or continuous ribbon shape, a really unusual but flattering shape that rests lovely against the finger.
