DATE: Victorian, c.1880

This wonderful antique flower ring is set with a gorgeous, highly domed moonstone and diamonds. It dates to the late Victorian period, circa 1880, and features a fantastic flower "halo", silver set with diamonds. The domed moonstone means that this stone glows exceptionally brightly... with gorgeous hues of blue and white. Moonstone is known for its adularescence, whereby the light pools inside the stone and the whole thing appears to shimmer and glow. With diamond set shoulders, the band is crafted in 18k yellow gold.
