DATE: Victorian, c.1900

A gorgeous antique diamond and demantoid garnet two-stone ring, dating from the turn of the century, circa 1900. Modelled in the "toi et moi" style, it's set with a fantastic 0.43ct demantoid garnet with an old mine cut diamond that rests opposite. The diamond set shoulders very slightly curve, with open backed settings that allow the light in behind the stones, enhancing their colour and brightness. It's crafted in 18k yellow gold throughout and makes a lovely alternative for an engagement ring, as the two stones represent "you and me".
