DATE: Mid-Century, c.1950

This sleek French Mid-Century ring is set with a vivid, velvety blue Ceylon sapphire (no heat). The rings design is pretty striking, with the use of straight and curved lines to create the open worked gallery and high profile. The centre stones weighs in at 1.2 carats, and the shoulders are set with alternating rows of single and princess cut diamonds. It's French made, dates from the 1950's and makes a great pinky or statement ring. Crafted in 18k white gold throughout.
