DATE: Mid Century, c.1940

This Mid-Century floral spray brooch is beautifully constructed, set with gorgeous ruby flowers and array of diamonds. The rubies rest at the top of the brooch, creating three flowers (approx. 2.8ct total), while baguette cut diamonds are set all the way up the "stems". Two open worked leaves are set with brilliant cuts, that loop round the entire brooch, with a single 10pt diamond that rests at the top. With open backed settings, the stones shines brightly, and it dates to the 1940's. Crafted in platinum.
