DATE: Vintage, c.1968

A cool vintage Van Cleef & Arpels scarecrow brooch, dating from 1968. It's crafted in 18k gold with a textured body to represent straw, set with brilliant-cut diamonds and sapphire cabochons. It's spherical chalcedony head is topped with a hat and wrapped with a scarf and it's feet, set with ruby cabochons. Features the Van Cleef & Arpels mark on the back, with two pins and a brooch fitting- to be added to your scarf, button holes or collar.
