DATE: Victorian, c.1890

A charming antique bar brooch featuring a diamond studded lucky horseshoe. Dating from the Victorian period, the horseshoe is set with graduated sparkly old mine cut diamonds with a total weight over just over half a carat. They rest within silver settings and the bar itself features an elegant wrap around rope detail, with fittings for wear as a pendant, and of course a brooch. Crafted in 15k gold throughout, it dates from the Victorian period, circa 1890.
