DATE: Victorian, c.1890

A small and perfectly formed Victorian horseshoe stick pin dating from the Victorian period, circa 1890. It's studded with the most gorgeous chunky old mine cut diamonds, graduated along it's length, with a total carat weight of ct. It's crafted in 15k yellow gold throughout, and makes a lovely and lucky addition to your jewellery collection. Horseshoes have long been associated with good luck, and has become popular symbol to provide protection. There are many superstitions on which way you should hang a horseshoe, however many choose to hang it facing down, believing that when you walk under it, all the positive vibes will “rain over” them.
