DATE: Georgian, c.1820

A gorgeous Georgian Saint Esprit pendant crafted in silver and set with myriad white paste gemstones. Representing the Holy Spirit, the Saint Esprit, in the form a dove carrying an olive branch in its beak, was a popular peace symbol in 18th and 19th century France. This one was made in the 1820s, and remains in great antique condition.
