A gorgeous antique chequerboard ring set with two rows of alternating rubies and old cut diamonds. The stones rest in claw settings, with a lovely carved gallery and shoulders. The stone show great brightness and sparkle, and it's modelled in 18 karat gold, dating from the Victorian period, circa 1890. A fine example of this popular, and striking, style.
