DATE: Victorian, c.1840

A super cute elephant charm carved from a single piece of natural coral. Elephants often symbolize power, royalty and wisdom and this little lucky piece dates from the early Victorian period, circa 1840. It's gorgeously detailed, with it's trunk curling round, and eyes and ears that I couldn't even imagine carving! It comes complete with gold fittings to add to your collection of charms. Chain not included.
