Georgian Citrine 15k Gold Seal Fob & Split Ring
Georgian Citrine 15k Gold Seal Fob & Split Ring
$2,750.00
Description
DATE: Georgian, c.1780
An exceptional antique seal fob and split ring dating from the Georgian period (circa 1780). It's crafted in buttery 15 karat gold, with exquisite floral and foliate goldwork throughout. The bottom of the fob is set with a citrine panel, carved with the initials "J C" and a dragon. The piece has a really good, substantial feel and it remains in gorgeous antique condition. These fobs were originally worn on the end of a pocket watch chain, but we think they make great pendants paired with a gold chain.
