DATE: Etruscan Revival, c.1870

A wonderful Etruscan Revival brooch featuring a tassie glass intaglio centre piece (moulded glass), amongst a seed pearl cluster. The borders are exquisite; a masterclass in Etruscan inspired rope-work, layered with a finely pierced section. Its modelled in 15k karat gold throughout, with both brooch and pendant fittings.
