DATE: Art Nouveau, c.1900

A particularly pretty Art nouveau version of the classic "Toi et Moi" (you and me), intertwined with a stylised 'lovers knot' set with an old cut diamond and a juicy red ruby. The Lover's Knot (aka infinity knot) is a popular motif in jewellery of the period, symbolising the eternal bond between two souls- this can be as lovers or even friendship! The twisting and curved lines are typically Art Nouveau in style, and its crafted in 15k gold throughout. Dates to the turn of the century, circa 1900.
