DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

A fantastic Art Deco period ring by Cartier Paris. The  perfectly square head is set with a black onyx panel, claw set, while a sparkling ct old cut diamond rests in the centre. The way its set always looks as if its floating across the head, like a star in the dark night sky. Its stamped Cartier Paris on the inner band, and the outer features French marks for 14k gold (white).
