Edwardian 3-Stone Opal & Diamond Ring
Edwardian 3-Stone Opal & Diamond Ring
$1,950.00
Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1907
This colourful antique ring dates from the Edwardian period, with hallmarks for 18 karat gold, Birmingham assay office and the year 1907. Three fiery opals are spread out across the head, each one displaying a dreamy array of colour- from blue to green, orange, red, yellow and purple. At each side of the centre opal are pairs of old cut diamonds, creating space between each of the stones. Its a lovely antique ring, and the inner band features a sweet engraving "H.F.M, 1909", which I presume would have been a gift from one person to another.
