$25,000.00
Description
DATE: Art Deco, c.1920
A stunning 9.5 carat Burmese ruby is the focal point of this superb Art Deco period cluster ring. The principal stone displays an intense purple red, certified at 9.52ct with no indication of heat treatment and origin Burma/Myanmar. It's claw set within a double halo of old mine cut diamonds, the outer band set into petal-like mounts, crafted in platinum throughout. With French control marks and wonderfully intricate openworked gallery, it's beautifully made and particularly eye-catching on account of the scale and colour of the ruby.
