DATE: Mid-Century, c.1937

This pretty and dainty cluster ring is modelled as a daisy flower, set with an emerald centre and platinum diamond surround. With English hallmarks for 18k gold, Birmingham assay office, it dates to the late Deco period, 1937. The emerald displays a charming pastel colour, set in place with platinum claws. The diamonds are set amongst millegrain "petals", with subtly pinched shoulders at either side of the head.
