DATE: Georgian, c.1800

A cool Georgian seal fob pendant set with a foil backed amethyst in the base. The body of the fob is made up of two snakes with gorgeous cross-hatch chased scales, coiled around flat cut garnets. It dates from the turn of the 19th Century, modelled in 9 karat gold throughout.
