DATE: Edwardian, c.1910 

A gorgeous antique brooch, dating from the Edwardian period circa 1910. The articulated halo is topped with a bow, all set with stunning old cut diamonds and rubies. The feminine charm of the bow was a popular motif and finishing touch in Edwardian jewellery, adding a delicate touch. The combination of stones with the rich 18k gold is lovely, and it can be worn as a brooch or even a pendant!
