A charming Victorian pendant and chain, featuring a gorgeous juicy garnet cabochon as the main event. The highly domed garnet is set within a border of gold ropework and and topped with a textured ivy leaf. Victorian jewellery often includes floral motifs, as part of their "Language of Flowers", whereby each flower or plant represented some romantic or emotional sentiment... In this case, ivy for wedded love, fidelity, friendship and affection. With an unusual scroll engraved halo that surrounds the stone, it features a locket compartment to the back, in which you can add your own keepsake. It's crafted in 15k gold throughout and hangs from a gold snake chain with two swag drops. 16 inches wearable length.
