Georgian Rose Cut Diamond Round Cluster Ring
$2,500.00
Description
DATE: Georgian, c.1780
A beautiful Georgian diamond cluster ring dating from the 18th Century, circa 1780. The round head is set with an array of highly domed rose cut diamonds - set in silver - and features a dish back with hand engraved fluted details. The band is modelled in 15 karat gold, and joins the head through elegant trifurcated shoulders, with an oak leaf motif in the middle. The style is quite typical for the era, albeit on a slightly smaller scale than they often are.
