A cool Georgian ouroboros locket set with a halo of natural pearls around a central glass-fronted compartment. It's crafted in 9 karat gold and dates from the early 19th Century, circa 1820.

The Ouroboros, or "tail devourer", is a potent symbol that's been around since ancient times.
