Early Georgian Agate Moorish Prince Fob Pendant
Early Georgian Agate Moorish Prince Fob Pendant
$3,150.00
Description
DATE: Georgian, c.1750
This cool antique fob dates from the Georgian period, circa 1750. This antique piece depicts a Moorish Prince, carefully hand carved from agate. The different tones within the agate have been used wisely, creating fantastic details within the face. This centre motif sits on top of an ornate yellow gold base, with applied gold leaf motifs set with ruby and diamond. The agate panel at the base is a cameo of a prince, and a lovely emerald rests just under the bail. It remains in great condition despite it's age, and it's crafted in 15k gold throughout.
