DATE: Georgian, c.1780
Beautiful little heart locked dating from the latter half of the 18th century (!!) circa 1780. Two glass compartments shaped in the Georgian fashion - like an upside down egg or pear - are hinged at the top, opening to allow for safe keeping of a small memento or pair of photographs. Crafted in 15k gold.
