Can you keep a secret?
A cool antique seal fob dating from the Georgian period, circa 1820. The base is set with an intaglio carved glass panel, featuring a rebus puzzle. Popular in the Georgian period, the rebus puzzle or "pictogram" typically uses pictures, symbols or letters to spell out parts and syllables of words. In this case, a can for CAN, a yew tree for YOU and the rest "keep a secret". Maybe given to someone as a mischievous gift or to a secret lover.
