Edwardian Pearl Lucky Horseshoe Brooch
$500.00
Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1910
A lovely and delicate antique horseshoe brooch pin dating from the Edwardian period, circa 1910. It's set with dreamy pearls, that graduate in size, and is crafted in sterling silver throughout.
There are many superstitions on which way you should hang a horseshoe, however many believe that to hang a horseshoe with the ends pointing upward, acts as a storage container for any good luck that happens to be floating by, however many choose to hang it facing down, believing that when you walk under it, all the positive vibes will “rain over” them. So whichever way you choose to wear it good luck may come your way.
