DATE: Victorian, c.1880

A beautiful Victorian five-stone ring set with vibrant opals and tiny rose cut diamond accents. It's modelled in 18 karat yellow gold throughout, with a scrolled gallery and shoulders, creating the settings where the stones rest in place. The opals are seriously well saturated, displaying colours of blue, green, orange, yellow and purple- the full rainbow colour spectrum is on display. It dates to circa 1880, with a lovely low profile from the finger.
