This gorgeous Victorian 5-stone boat ring was gifted to or from a "W.G", with the special date of 30.12.97... I wonder if this was a birthday, anniversary, a new year gift? Its set with three juicy rubies and two old mine cut diamonds across the slim head. The stones rest in gold scalloped settings that form open spaces to the gallery, allowing the light in behind them. Its modelled in 18 karat gold throughout with English hallmarks for Birmingham assay office.
