DATE: Art Deco, c.1930

This unusual Art Deco ring is illusion set with a 0.26ct transitional cut diamond. An illusion setting enhances the perceived size of the diamond within the setting, and in this case the stone is surrounded by a scroll engraved silver halo. The band features pinched, silver tipped shoulders, and its modelled in 18 karat yellow gold. It features a lovely pierced gallery and open backed settings, dating to the 1930's.
