Edwardian Sapphire & Rose Cut Diamond Snake Ring
Edwardian Sapphire & Rose Cut Diamond Snake Ring
$2,600.00
Description
DATE: Edwardian , c.1910
With English hallmarks, this snakey ring is dated to the end of the Victorian era and the beginning of the Edwardian period, 1901. Modelled in 15 karat rosey/yellow gold, this snake is a chunky example, set with a sapphire "brain" and rose cut diamond eyes. Its body wraps around your finger two times, with its gem-set head and tail meeting in the centre. As well as looking badass, snakes can be seen as a symbol of eternal love, wisdom, healing and fertility.
