Strength and Fortune. Imperial Topaz is a "stone of good fortune," believed to bring abundance and positivity into one's life... The ancient Greeks believed the stone would bestow great strength to the wearer, and could even provide invisibility.
This ring is set with three Imperial Topaz stones, vertically across the head, displaying a warm golden hue and the stone gets its Imperial title from the Tsars of 17th Century Russia, who claimed the exclusive right to wear it.
The stones are surrounded by fine cannetille work, with bifurcated shoulders. The band is crafted in 18k gold, with French hallmarks on the outer band and dates from the Georgian period, circa 1830.
