DATE: Early Victorian, c.1849

This outstanding antique gypsy ring is set with the most gorgeous, chunky and bright old mine cut diamonds... Dating to the early Victorian period, it features English hallmarks for 18 karat gold, the year 1849 and Birmingham assay office. Each of the stones rest in open backed settings, displaying their gorgeous cut and enhancing their brightness. They're each highly domed and sparkle when moved in the light... With a total weight of 3.36 carats. The gold band is smooth and displays a lovely buttery yellow gold. It remains in excellent antique condition, probably the best gypsy we've ever had.
