Antique Georgian Vauxhall Glass Cluster Earrings
DATE: Georgian, c. 1770
These fantastic cluster earrings (aka mirror glass) earrings feature Vauxhall Glass outer stones, with central rock crystals. So called because of the Vauxhall Glass factory and pleasure gardens where the 18th Century high society would gather. These are a early example of the technique, and they are magnificent. The central stones are pear-shaped rock crystals. Silver settings with high-carat gold backs.

No marks present, tests as 15k gold & silver
Offered in very good condition. Some general wear to the stones, commensurate with age and use. There is a scratch test mark on the back of one earring. The wires have been added later - please see images
